Jeidah (Gengegal)

Jedidah magiri was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. She started doing music at the age of 14 but it wasn’t until two years later when she recorded her first single under Clemo of Calif Records. The single was a remix of jimwat’s “Under 18 ” song that she renamed “Hazi ya Msee” (someone else’s husband). Jedidah went on to do a collabo with Genge artist Jua Cali. The single “Hey Hey” was featured in Jua Cali’s CD Ngeli ya Genge.
In 2007, Jedidah moved to the United States and released her latest single “Wape Ngoma” (Give them music) in the summer of 2009 under Kilimanjaro Records and soon after released the video (below).
